Adoption, Fundraising, and Registries, Oh My!

Hey Friends! I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. I spent mine with family and more paperwork that I ever thought I would be doing.

I don't have many picture updates of the nursery because I haven't added much. I have been focusing my efforts on fundraising for baby Warren. I set my adoption fundraising goal and loans at 40,000. If you have adopted, you know that is on the way low end of the adoption cost scale. The number is completely overwhelming as a single momma to be, but thankfully I have had some amazing women reach out to me and offer to do fundraisers for me. I am so grateful for them. I am also thankful to the friends that purchased photo shoots with Katelyn, gave to my Go Fund Me, write letters of recommendation, bought earrings, or sent me prayers and more prayers. Every one of y'all are helping make my dreams come true and I LOVE YOU!

I am working on making some wreaths to sell. They are so cute, and my two sweet friends asked me to make them last year and I just didn't have time, so I decided to make time! I have a raffle coming soon too!

I did want to share some momma-to-be knowledge! When I made my amazon registry, it was honestly just in hopes that I would get a baby shower one day or to keep all my ideas in one place so I would know what I wanted for the nursery. Amazon is amazing and they send you  a welcome box after someone buys something on your registry. (Thanks Ashley and Phil!) So I signed up, and wanted to share with you what was in my box. If you are a momma to be, you should check it out. You can use my affiliate link to sign up for your baby registry if you want. (with affiliate links, I make a very small commission at no cost to you!) I have seen other people's boxes and they are not all the same but equally as amazing!

It comes in the cutest little packaging!

There are TONS of coupons and an easy way to scan all of the items in the box if you want to add them to your registry.

I got this precious swaddle that reminds me of South Carolina, and cute bib.

TONS of diapers and wipes, which is great because I can try them all and decide which ones work best for my little one.

There were some breast pads, (that I can donate to a friend) a bottle, and lots of baby detergent.

The box totals around 36 dollars in retail so it was a nice surprise to get for free.

I am still looking for fundraisers so if you have a great idea, leave me a message or let me know! Until then, I will be finishing fingerprints, well water inspections, and septic tank information.

Talk to y'all soon!
~Erin
